Tunisia-Conditions of entry into Belgium

In the current state of the pandemic, the Council of the European Union has designated the colour “red” to Tunisia. Belgium rigorously advises against all travel to the red zones, including Tunisia.

CAN TRAVEL TO BELGIUM FROM TUNISIA ONLY:
Persons having the nationality or the main residence in a nation of the EU or the Schengen zone, following the indications appearing on this site: https://www.info-coronavirus.be/fr/voyages/;
People with a visa and travelling on a trip deemed “essential”, listed in the “issuance of visas” section below.
The following visas can be issued, and new applications for these types of visas can be made to TLS:

– Family reunion
– Visa for marriage or legal cohabitation

TRAVEL-RELATED MEASURES
All people arriving in Belgium need to respect the following conditions:

• Complete before departure an online form “Public Health Passenger Locator Form”, to be presented on arrival on Belgium territory.
• All stays in the red zone will now be deemed high-risk contacts. As of December 31, 2020, anyone returning to Belgium after a stay of at least 48 hours in the red zone will consequently be placed in compulsory quarantine. The quarantine can only be finished with a negative PCR test performed on the seventh day of quarantine.
• Non-residents 6 years of age or older must present a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before boarding. Citizens in Belgium and children under 6 are not obliged to comply with this measure.
• Residents returning from a red zone and having stayed there for more than 48 hours must be tested on the first day and the seventh day of the quarantine. From January 2, 2021, people will receive an SMS upon their return that will enable them to come to a test centre. At Brussels Airport, the testing capacity will be further risen to allow travellers arriving in Belgium to be tested voluntarily from the outset. At Charleroi airports and Brussels-Midi station, test capacity will be developed.
• Quarantine and tests are compulsory. If you do not respect this obligation, you risk a fine of at least 250 euros.
