Death of two workers and injury of third at the construction site:

Two workers died while another sustained severe wounds after the slipping of scaffolding on the construction site of a hotel in Gafsa.

The injured worker was transported to  Houcine Bouzaiène Regional Hospital for treatment.

Tunisia faces exodus of Western oil giants:

 

According to Reuters news agency, citing sources Royal Dutch Shell and Italy’s Eni are seeking to sell their oil and gas operations in Tunisia.Shell has hired investment bank Rothschild & Co. to sell its Tunisian assets, which include two offshore gas fields and an onshore production facility the Anglo-Dutch company acquired as part of its 2016 $53 billion takeovers of BG Group, the sources told Reuters.

Egypt – Train collision  and Building collapse: President Kais Saied offers condolences

President Kais Saied offered on behalf of the Tunisian people, his sincere condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Abdelfattah Al-Sissi following the collision of two passenger trains in the south of the country and the collapse of a building in Cairo.

Sulfur at Sfax commercial port

MP Olfa Tarras reported the fury of the residents of the governorate of Sfax over the pollution of the commercial port of the region.Tarras condemned the discharge of sulfur at the commercial port. She called on the halt of the dumping and transport of this substance in urban areas.
