Activist and former Secretary of State for Youth Slim Amamou announced that Faouzi Daas, director of Kaïs Saïed’s electoral campaign, was detained last night.
Thouraya Zabâar, one of Daas’s friends, said in a post that he was arrested yesterday on charges of violating the curfew, yet there was a quarter of an hour before midnight. He was, according to the same testimony, taken to the police station and attacked by officers who compulsorily took his cell phone.
He was discharged today after a group of lawyers intervened and an inquiry has been opened against the security officer who assaulted him, the post read.
