The Central Narcotics Control Brigade of the National Guard, in collaboration with the Research and Inspection Brigade of the National Guard’s district in Tajerouine, dismantled a drug trafficking network working between El Ksour, Rouhia, and Sousse. The network was reportedly led by a market manager stemming from El Ksour. This network specialises in distributing drugs within schools, youth communities, and different markets, establishing a presence in each of the aforementioned cities.
The apprehension of the network’s leader was followed by the seizure of drugs. The public prosecutor at the Kef Court of First Instance has authorized the incarceration of all involved people on charges of “transport, display, intermediation, possession, sale, and trade of illegal substances, in addition to charges related to money laundering.”
