The Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation issued a judgment today, Tuesday, January 9, 2024, approving the decision of the Indictment Chamber to decline the charge of rape brought against the former first president of the Court of Cassation, Taïeb Rached.
Note that the investigating judge at the Siliana Court of first instance rendered a decision to close the inquiry while maintaining the accusation of rape against Taïeb Rached, a decision which was then confirmed by the indictment chamber of the Siliana Court of Appeal.
