Tunisia-Education minister apologizes to doctors

The Minister of Education Fathi Sellaouti on Tuesday, June 14, 2022extednded his apology to the medical profession a day after the outbreak of the controversy over the possible involvement of Tunisian physicians in the implantation of headphones in favour of candidates for the baccalaureate in order to assist them to pass the exams.
 
The Minister who was talking to the media on the sidelines of a visit he made this morning to the baccalaureate examination centres in Testour and Teboursouk in the governorate of Beja affirmed that groundless information which had been communicated to him was the origin of his statements.
 
He added that he is not shy to apologize to the doctors while thanking some of them who interfered to remove mini kits that had been implanted in the ears of some baccalaureate candidates in one of the regions of the country.
