Caretaker PM Elyes Fakhfakh, on Monday, said “governments are not judged by their duration in time but by their achievements,” adding “history will remember this government for its success in managing the COVID-19 pandemic.”
He was addressing government members, as well as state employees, executives and officials at El Kasbah on Eid al-Idha.
Fakhfakh stressed the need to keep the administration away from political influence, highlighting the “determination of his government to dissociate the administration from partisan allegiances and uphold transparency and good governance.”
He also emphasised the need to stabilise the executive power due to the current delicate situation.
“We have started real reforms and it is crucial to continue along the same lines to achieve the expectations of the Tunisians and meet their aspirations for a social State fair towards all regions and all groups,” he said.
