Tunisia – Sousse: Arrest of five people involved in assassination perpetrated yesterday

Official spokesperson for the court of first instance of Sousse 1, Wissem El-Cherif, revealed that “the judicial police brigade of Sousse Medina was able, Saturday at dawn, to apprehend 5 individuals for their involvement in a murder involving the death 37-year-old young man, and to seize the murder weapon.

He explained in a statement to Al-Jawhara FM: “The crime happened last night, Friday, and according to preliminary investigations, a dispute broke out between the different protagonists which led to the death of the deceased after he was stabbed with a sharp object. », indicating “the existence of an immoral relationship between them”.

As a reminder, last Friday evening, the body of a young man in his thirties, originally from Bouhajla in the governorate of Kairouan (married and father of two children), was discovered abandoned near a wadi, the Khezama area in Sousse, and bearing traces of violence. The representative of the Sousse public prosecutor’s office went to examine the body before authorizing its presentation to the forensic doctor and opening an investigation on this subject.
