Qalb Tounes recently made to prime minister Hichem Mechichi two suggestions that could break the deadlock in which he is at currently, sources close to the government presidency revealed to Tunisie Numérique.
First proposal: Substitute two ministers
The party asserted that it could be content with the replacement of two ministers.
First the Minister of Justice Mohamed Boucetta whom the party would like to replace by Ahmed Adhoum. The party further suggested that in addition to the ministry of Religious Affairs, the latter leads the Ministry of Justice as an interim.
The second minister concerned is Leila Jaffel, Minister of State Domains and Land Affairs, whom Qalb Tounes would like to succeed by Ali Kooli, who will act as interim while proceeding as head to the Ministry of the Economy, finance and investment support.
Second proposal: Grouping of ministries
If the President of the Republic remains to adhere to his positions and declines to accept the replacement of the two aforementioned ministers, the party offers to resort to a more radical solution which is regrouping the ministries.
Therefore instead of the current 28 ministries, the administration would be made up of 17 ministerial posts and Mechichi could get rid of the 11 ministers who pose a problem to him.
