On the sidelines of the security preparations conducted to guarantee the smooth running of the 25th Congress of the UGTT in Sfax, the security units in Sfax succeeded in apprehending 3 individuals from the region, including one nicknamed Abou Joumana, known for his membership of a terrorist organization.
A car and a considerable sum of money were seized from the suspects, according to Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent.
The judicial police brigade took charge of this matter and it turned out later that they belong to a terrorist organization. After consultation with the public prosecutor at the court of first instance of Sfax, it was decided to put them in police custody until the finalization of the legal proceedings.
