Speaking on Elhiwar Ettounsi, Health Minister Faouzi Mehdi urged citizens to be cautious and adhere to health protocols against COVID-19.
The minister said that Tunisia is witnessing the second wave of the pandemic, warning of a third wave during February and March.
He reminded that a lockdown cannot be imposed due to its economic, social and phycological consequences on the Country, stressing that a lockdown has no meaning for the time being.
The speaker affirmed that current procedures adopted by prime minister prime minister Hichem Mechichi will stay in effect in light of the instability of the epidemiological situation, the decision will be announced on November 15, he adds.
