The investigating judge at the Anti-Terrorism Judicial Pole issued arrest warrants against five foreigners with the nationality of a European country, for membership in a terrorist organization, connections with a foreign party and possession of a firearm without a license.
As a reminder, the five foreigners were apprehended more than two weeks ago in the Baraket Essahel region in Hammamet, where initially three of them were arrested in a private car at the entrance to Baraket Essahel, following information that they had entered Tunisian territory illegally.
After an inquiry and search of their car, drugs were found. Subsequently, two other people who were waiting for them in a recently rented house were arrested, and the search of the house led to the seizure of firearms, drugs and foreign passports.
The public prosecutor at the Grombalia Court of first instance decided to forsake the case in favour of the judicial pole for the fight against terrorism.
