The meeting emphasized the strategic relationships of collaboration between the two countries and the common interest to develop them in all fields.
Minister Erray embraced the unswerving backing of the United States to Tunisia in facing economic and security challenges, notably during this critical time inflected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meeting also focused on President Kais Saied call to activate international solidarity and collaboration between the numerous parties within the framework of the United Nations, through fostering a new and effective approach in confronting the coronavirus pandemic and related threats to humanity.
It also provided a chance to address some regional and international issues of common interest, including the Libyan file.
