In a Facebook post, the French ambassador to Tunisia, Olivier Poivre d’Arvor reacted to rumours circulating on social networks
regarding the termination of his mission.
Arvor addressed directly journalist Samir Elwafi, who had affirmed this information, asking him to correct this error while ensuring that the French State decided to extend his mission for another year.

This is an April Fool’s prank in October … and hence it’s an absolute misleading information.
I would be appreciative if you did not publicise it and tell your followers. My term has just been extended for one year.
