Tunisia-Funding of electoral campaign: PDL sends a correspondence to the Court of Auditors

The PDL believed that the decision taken by the ISIE on the conditions for participation in the July 25 referendum is illegitimate. The party clarified that this opened the participation to people, political parties, associative networks, coalitions and organizations active in public affairs indicating that this is in opposition to the provisions of the electoral law.

It, accordingly, decided to send a letter to the Court of Auditors as the body accountable for monitoring the financing of electoral and referendum campaigns, calling on it to apply the principle of equality between the various participants.
