The director of plant production at the regional agricultural delegation in Gafsa reported this Wednesday, October 26 that the olive harvest had begun in Zannouche, in the presence of several officials.
He assessed that the olive harvest would reach 86 thousand tonnes this year, spread over an area of 120,000 hectares.
The olive harvest has likewise started in Sfax where production is estimated at 85 thousand tonnes, the equivalent of 18,000 tonnes of olive oil.
