Tunisia-General strike in Chebba

The residents of Chebba responded on Monday, October 19, 2020, to the call for a general strike launched by the components of civil society and the Local Labor Union.

The townspeople are challenging what they see as an injustice against CS Chebbien. Recall that the Tunisian Football Federation has decided to freeze the club.

All businesses, public administrations and private companies have closed their doors. Only pharmacies, the local hospital and bakeries continue to operate.

The access to the city is still blocked by the demonstrators.
