The number of Tunisians recruited abroad as part of technical cooperation attained 4,179 people from January 1 to November 30, 2023, marking a substantial increase of 27.4% compared to the same period last year.
European countries conquered the placements of Tunisian skills, accounting for 1,752 recruitments, constituting 42% of the total recruitments. At the end of November, Arab countries recruited 1,550 Tunisians.
In terms of specific countries, Germany and Canada emerged as the top recruiters of Tunisian skills in 2023, with 773 and 671 recruitments, respectively.
Breaking down the sector of activity, the medical and paramedical sector drew the largest number of Tunisian skills, registering 1,533 recruitments, or approximately 37% of the total.
As of the end of November, the Tunisian Technical Cooperation Agency had received 80 offers. Nevertheless , compared to the same period in 2022, there was a notable decline of 38% in the number of offers received.
