Tunisia-Government decree classifies coronavirus as contagious disease

The Covid-19 has been classified among contagious diseases listed in Law No71 of 1992, according to Decree Law No.152 of 2020, published on March 13 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia.

The Decree-Law, which is valid for three months from its entry into force, makes it possible to take repressive measures against persons who refuse treatment or violate quarantine measures, in accordance with the legislation in force.
