The HAICA disclosed a penalty of 20 thousand dinars had been forwarded to the legal representative of Express FM radio. The transgression committed by the radio befalls under Articles 70 and 156 of the Election Law is the discussion of the results of an opinion poll.
Moreover, Ibtissama FM was fined with 3,000 dinars for making official propaganda during a period of electoral silence, HAICA approvingly quoted articles 69 and 155 of the same law for this apparent violation.
The same violation was perpetrated by Al Janoubia which was penalised by a 10-thousand dinar fine.
