Tunisia-Hammamet: Closure of seven cafes and a massage center

Hammamet delegate and chairman of the local disaster response committee, Mohamed Abdelwahid, announced that the governor of Nabeul on Sunday evening approved the implementation of eight decisions to close seven cafes and a non-medical massage center.

Abdelwahid clarified that he found, accompanied by joint security teams, violations related to the deliberate sale of hookah by a number of cafes, adding that the massage centre was open to the public despite the banning decisions made by the regional committee to deal with disasters.

According to Abdelwahid, the violations were transmitted to the governor who issued closure decisions which will be implemented from Monday.
