Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,MP to the dissolved Parliament Hatem Mliki remarked on the discourse of the President of the Republic Kais Saïed delivered yesterday from the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior. “We sensed that he was tense because of the recently leaked recordings,” he said. Mliki added that the Head of State appears to have trouble recognizing the presence of opposition forces and their right to voice themselves freely. “Kais Saïed must acknowledge that opponents are not all traitors and that honest patriots are not the only ones to support his decisions” adds our speaker. Hatem Mliki called on Saïed, in the same context, to place the armed forces out of political skirmishes.
