President of the Republic Kais Saied received Saturday a phone call from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sissi.
The Egyptian leader asserted solidarity with President Saied and the Tunisian people in the wake of the attempted poisoning of the Head of State., the Presidency announced in a press release.
The head of the state displayed appreciation for the noble gesture and solidarity with the Tunisian people. The long-standing relations connecting the two peoples and the common will to give them an impetus were at the centre of the conversation.
