The director-general of the Institut Pasteur, Hechmi Louzir, responded Wednesday, October 14 that it is futile to sterilize the streets and outdoor spaces to counter the spread of the Coronavirus.
Appearing on a TV show, Mr Louzir explained that the Coronavirus does not live long in open spaces and that sterilization operations must be done especially in enclosed spaces, and be focused on surfaces and objects that a large number of people touch.
