Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi indicated at the conclusion of the plenary devoted to the vote of confidence that the reality of the people calls for thoughtful and concrete resolutions.
He stressed, to the deputies present, that if the diagnosis is unanimous, differences may exist on resolutions but they need to surmount in the interest of the country.
On the issue of demonstrations, Mechichi said: “The right to protest is legitimate and nothing can endanger or contest this right. We do not mix vandalism with demonstrations, we are here to preserve public and private property, institutions and the protesters themselves against those who desire to exploit these movements for criminal acts ”.
“Our goal is to hear young people, our goal is to encourage them and make their requests our priority… I don’t know how to sell dreams, I have picked this team with care and today it is important to make political discourse more responsible and to stop defaming people for a yes a no … Many have lost faith in the State and its institutions, I still believe in it … “he said added.
