Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, head of the National Chamber of Poultry Meat Merchants Ibrahim Nafzaoui stressed that, during the chamber’s meeting, they will submit an initiative to lower the profit margin in the white meat sector for approval by the executive office and determine the exact percentage of this decrease.
Nafzaoui added that the poultry sector, particularly white meat from turkey and chicken slices, is undergoing a state of stability and a decline in prices as well.
Our speaker pointed out that prices saw an apparent increase in a certain period, but they have fallen significantly recently due to the availability of supply and a relative lack of demand for this material.
