Tunisia-Influenza vaccine triples its price

The president of the Order of Pharmacists, Ali Bsila announced on Tuesday that the price of the flu vaccine is anticipated to triple this winter.
The dose of vaccine will consequently cost 50 d instead of 16. Bsila told TAP that the composition of this vaccine has been boosted to be effective against all kinds of the seasonal flu virus, which justifies the price hike.
The president of the order of pharmacists, on the other hand, insisted on the significance of vaccinating vulnerable categories, particularly the elderly and those suffering from chronic diseases. “Flu shots will be available in the following weeks,” he said.
