Tunisia-Is the liberation of Bhiri on the exact day of the establishment of the Provisional Council of the Judiciary a coincidence? [Audio]

In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, attorney and political activist Imed Ben Halima remarked on the liberation of  Noureddine Bhiri. “The release of Bhiri on the exact day of the establishment of the Provisional Judiciary Council has many connotations. Besides, I don’t think it’s a coincidence. President of the Republic Kais Saied referred to “Bhiri’s justice” several times in his discourses. So it was as if the Nahdhaoui leader had been put under house arrest for one purpose; dissolve the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSM). Then, on the day of the establishment of the provisional council, Bhiri was freed,” he said, making it known that Bhiri’s detention is a bad decision that cannot be justified. “Bhiri was apprehended 5 months after the July 25 measures were put in place. Why wasn’t he arrested the next day? Why is it him and not someone else among the leaders or members of the secret apparatus of the Islamist party? it is a random decision” adds our speaker.
