Tunisia- Jalila Ben Khelil: Patients who recovered from COVID-19 will be observed to detect possible complications

Patients who recovered from COVID-19 will be observed to identify possible complications, related member of the Scientific Committee for Fight against the Coronavirus at the Health Ministry Jalila Ben Khelil.

Possible health impacts on survivors, prominently those suffering from chronic diseases, cannot be ruled out or confirmed only after certain tests are carried out, she stated.

So far there is no indication of post-recovery complications. The commission is now operating on a strategy to use rapid diagnostic tests on foreigners who enter Tunisia as borders open on June 27.
