The head of the Japanese diplomacy Toshimitsu Motegi is expected, at the beginning of next December, in Tunis. This visit was the focus of an interview on Tuesday in Tunis between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Jerandi and the Japanese Ambassador in Tunis Shinsuke Shimizu.
The meeting also focused on bilateral cooperation and the means to develop it as well as on international issues of common interest including the Libyan crisis, a statement from the Foreign Affairs Department said.
During this interview, the emphasis was also placed on the preparations undertaken by Tunisia in anticipation of the 8th Summit of the Tokyo International Conference for the Development of Africa “Ticad 8” which will take place in 2022 in Tunisia.
