Tunisia-Kairouan: Al Hajjaja residents protest

Protests resumed again in Al Hajjaja area (Kairouan governorate) amid the detention of 4 people, according to Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent in the region.
It should be remarked that residents of Al Hajjaja area recently staged a demonstration after one of the investors intentionally dug a traditional sand quarry in an anarchic fashion in their area.
This quarry had impacted the agricultural production of the inhabitants. The demonstrators called on the governor of the region to intervene to fix this problem as soon as possible.
