Residents of the town of Trozza under the delegation of Haffouz (Kairouan governorate) headed to the gas pumping valve of the Société de Service du Gazoduc Transtunisien (SERGAZ) and threatened to shut down it, to condemn the water cut in the region for 5 months.
Luckily, National Guard agents stopped them from blocking the valve.
Residents additionally staged a protest in which some protesters stormed two cars from STEG and the regional directorate of agriculture.
