President Kais Saied welcomed House Speaker Rached Ghannouchi at Carthage presidential palace.
The meeting focused on the country lasted updates ,particularly the coronavirus which has become a threat to Tunisia and the rest of the world. Both counterparts agreed on the necessity of raising awareness of this danger and face it with a comprehensive confrontation.
Ghannouchi expressed his faith in Tunisia capacity to face the virus and win it with the solidarity of the state, parties and national organizations under the condition of not underestimating it and work under a united plan.
The house speaker also urged people to adhere to the disclosed procedures and limit their movements except for emergency, stressing that citizen must be responsible and not contribute to the virus spread.
