President Kais Saied received a health delegation composed of Health minster Abdellatif Mekki, Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya and Director General of Basic Health Care at the Ministry of Health Chokri Hammouda at Carthage presidential palace.
Minster Mekki said that informed the head of the state on the national strategy to fight coronavirus as well as the ministry and government activity in this regard. he further noted the civil society and national organizations effort and support.
He also pointed out that the meeting presented an opportunity to inform the president on the ministry various procedural and organizational aspects, he stressed the need to solidify efforts to secure a safe exit from this difficulty that affecting the world.
Moreover, He communicated his faith that the current situation would be an occasion to contribute to pushing for a speedy reformation of the health system in order to shield the health of society.
