Tunisia-Kaïs Saïed meets his Nigerian counterpart in Brussels

 President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, met, on Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Brussels, with the President of the Republic of Niger, Mohamed Bazoum. The Head of State declared he was extremely proud of the solidity of the ties that unite Tunisia and Niger, and affirmed his complete availability to consolidate and diversify them so as to bring the relations of collaboration, exchange and partnership between the two nations at higher levels for the profit of both peoples.

 

Kaïs Saïed likewise talked of the common challenges and issues confronting African countries and which need more concerted efforts and grown strengthening of partnerships to address them and achieve the legitimate aspirations of African peoples to build powerful States and stable institutions.

He ultimately invited his counterpart to pay a visit to Tunisia. For his part, Mohamed Bazoum expressed his country’s wish to develop cooperative ties with Tunisia and develop it in various fields, especially economic and commercial, higher education, scientific research and health.

Mohamed Bazoum said, according to the Carthage press release, that Niger supports the measures and decisions carried by Kaïs Saïed and considers them important and essential to strengthen Tunisia’s stability and its immunity.
