Tunisia: Kais Saied receives Huawei president in North Africa

President of the republic Kais Saied received Huawei President Terry HE in North Africa at the Carthage Palace.

The head of the state hailed the contribution of  Huawei in the development of the digital economy of the country and this, within the framework of the collaboration between Tunisia and China. . He additionally indicated that this collaboration could be supported even more especially in the sectors of education, higher education and transport.

On his part, Terry He announced his company is committed to continuing supporting Tunisia, through contributing, in particular, to the implementation of the medical city in Kairouan, the creation of jobs and skills training.

The Chinese multinational is likewise willing to expand partnerships with universities and educational institutions and equip them with computer labs.
