Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Regional Director of Trade in Kasserine Samia Briki noted that as part of the work to guarantee that the market is supplied with various consumer goods that are in demand during Ramadan, work has been done to provide sufficient quantities of agricultural and animal products, milk and its derivatives, and to start distributing quantities of fortified vegetable oil and… of olive oil. She also stated that bread will be available during Ramadan in 111 bakeries in the region.
She reported that a point of sale from producer to consumer has been established in the municipal market in Kasserine, where diverse consumables are available at low prices.
She also revealed that, at the level of supervisory work during the holy month, joint teams were assembled from the Regional Administration for Trade and Export Development with teams from the National Authority for Food Safety and the security services.
