The Economic Control agents of the Regional Administration for the Development of Trade and Exports in Kasserine, in collaboration with the agents of the Municipal Guard of the Foussana delegation, seized 1,680 litres of semi-skimmed milk sterilized. The seizure happened after a truck belonging to a distributor of milk and derived products provided this substance to a dried fruit store, as reported by Samia Briki, regional trade director in Kasserine.
She reported that an economic fine had been filed against the legal representative of the distributor for falsification, in breach of the legal formulas, within the meaning of Decree No. 10 of 2020 linking to setting specific provisions to forbid violations of competition rules and price.
The seized products were ensured in commercial premises to be re-injected, under the control of the administration, and the amount of the sale will be deposited in the general treasury of the State.
