Tunisia-Lassaad Yakoubi: Towards banning private lessons

Speaking on the airwaves of a private radio, secretary-general of the Federation of Secondary Education, under the UGTT, Lassad Yakoubi addressed the meeting programmed between the education ministry and the education unions.
He emphasised that the meeting will be devoted to the implementation of the different scenarios correlating to the resumption or adjournment of classes, specifying that only the termination classes and those lagging in the educational program have resumed their classes today.

He further said the meeting will concentrate on discussing the ban on private lessons to better protect students and teachers. Yakoubi also explained that part of the answer lies in vaccinating elderly and chronically ill teachers.
