Lawyer Hédi Hamdouni filed a lawsuit to the Public Prosecutor to prevent parliament deputies from obtaining diplomatic passports.
The lawyer asserted that approximately 150 people consigned him to file the complaint, suggesting that the number of complainants could reach between 200 and 300.
Hamdouni also affirmed that many citizens are boiling in anger because of the draft law which the deputies are attempting to pass.
The petition also intends to initiate an investigation into this project which grants unjustified privileges to MPs; which represents an abuse of power.
