Tunisia-Markets and prayers resume in Grand Tunis

The governors of Tunisia, Ben Arous, Manouba and Ariana has declared on Sunday 22 November;2020 the partial relaxation of measures imposed to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Hence, the following measures were announced:

  • Resumption of weekly markets.
  • Allow the five prayers in mosques with the necessity to uphold social distancing measures.
  • Permit restaurants to work until 7 p.m. and while at night, only home deliveries will be allowed.
  • Allow some cultural events such as rehearsals, certain performances by streaming, reopening of museums and archaeological sites under the condition of limiting the number of visitors.
