Tunisia-Marzouk: Tunisia is going through a civilizational crisis

Speaking to Mosaique FM,Machrou Tounes” leader Mohsen Marzouk, announced,  this Wednesday, December 28, that in addition to the political and socio-economic crisis confronting Tunisia, the nation is going through a a full civilizational crisis that threatens its very existence.

“The Tunisian nation is in peril, we are in a state of cultural dissolution, we need to determine responsibilities and reconstruct our nation,” he added.

On another level, Mohsen Marzouk considered that the President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, is in the process of founding a power based on oppression. “The unilateral process is illegitimate. I have operated as an observer in several countries around the world but I have never seen an 8.8% turnout at an election,” he said.
