Mehrez Boussayene was re-appointed as planned on Wednesday evening for a new term as head of the Tunisian National Olympic Committee following an elective General Assembly held at the Espace Arena at the Berges du Lac in Tunis. This GA was attended by representatives of 22 of the 27 federations affiliated with the CNOT. It was enriched by the attendance of the President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA), the Algerian Mustapha Berraf, as well as numerous foreign guests.
Boussayene, who has headed the CNOT since 2013 when he succeeded Younes Chetali, will lead an executive board formed as follows: Ali Benzarti, Mohsen Takrouni, Sofien Chaouachi, Hassine Karrazi, Naoufel Marchaoui, Hssan Korbi, Fathi Masmoudi, Ridha Manaï, Aref Belkhiria, Maher Bouchamaoui, Nahla Boudhina, Houda Jerad, Fathi Hachicha, Arjoueur Hedi Hajla Sabi, , Mohamed Lassad Dhif, Abdelkarim Boujemaa, Adel Zahra, Maroua Amri (sports representative) This new CNOT executive committee was elected for a term of 2021 to 2024.
