Tunisia- What you need to know about the 8th national mass vaccination day

The Ministry of Health has declared that it will organize the 8th day of mass vaccination this Saturday, December 25, 2021, to battle against the spread of the virus, in partnership with the different ministries and structures. T

The vaccination centres will open their doors from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to welcome all people aged 12 and over desiring to receive the 1st, 2nd, 3rd dose or the booster dose.

– 1st dose: All people enlisted or not registered on Evax can go to vaccination centres
 – 2nd dose: People who have received the first dose for more than a month or who have obtained a notification message can be vaccinated
– The 3rd dose or the booster dose: The categories involved:
  • People who have been summoned before and did not go to vaccination centres
  • People who have obtained the second dose for 5 months or more and have not been invoked 
  • People who have received a single dose of the Janssen vaccine for 2 months or more Pregnant women (in the 5th month of pregnancy) can be vaccinated
 The same source added that children and young people under the age of 18 should be escorted by their parents with parental permission available at all vaccination centres. The ministry has likewise announced that the list of centres will be published later.
