As part of the fight against drug trafficking among youth and around educational institutions, and following information received by the Menzel Temime judicial police brigade, according to which two people were intentionally dealing substances and narcotics among young people, using a rental car, and following surveillance operations, agents of the Tourist Security Brigade set up a precise ambush and apprehended the two suspects, including one who was wanted by the security units for drug trafficking. While searching the suspects, half a plate of cannabis, another quantity of the same substance and an electronic scale were seized, as well as blades designed for cutting and a sum of money in Tunisian dinar.
The public prosecutor authorized their arrest for “possession with intent to consume and traffic in narcotic substances”.
