The UGTT secretary general Noureddine Taboubi condemned the detention on Monday of the secretary general of the regional labor union (URT) in Sfax Youssef Aouadni and a number of trade unionists, welcoming this occasion, all the trade unionists “who were victims of injustice and wrongly incarcerated” .
Taboubi indicated that tries aimed at undermining union action and harming social dialogue are simply manoeuvres orchestrated with the aim of obscuring fundamental issues including, in particular, the shortage of food products, the increase in inflation and the deterioration of purchasing power, reports TAP.
