Tunisia-Milk shortage: “Supply will resume its usual pace in two weeks”, reassures Minister of Commerce

“Milk supply will resume its regular pace in two weeks,” stated the Minister of Trade and Export Development, Kalthoum Ben Rejeb in a statement given today to the media, on the sidelines of the 37th edition of the Company Days.

The minister clarified that the current period is characterized by a reduction in production and that most indicators are reassuring and milk collection has reached 860,000 litres per day.

The minister called on all citizens, especially owners of cafes and pastry shops, to limit themselves to buying necessary quantities as needed.
