As part of the sustained attention given by the President of the Republic to the Tunisian diaspora abroad and to the improvement of the consular services offered, especially with respect to the issuance and renewal of passports, a joint meeting was held today, August 21, 2023, at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior.
This meeting brought together Mr Kamel Feki, Minister of the Interior, and Mr Nabil Ammar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, in the attendance of executives from the two ministries.
On this occasion, the two ministers agreed to take measures to overcome certain existing organizational and financial hardships, as well as to boost coordination and communication between the Tunisian diplomatic and consular missions abroad and the services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Interior, in order to secure a rapid response to the requests and needs of Tunisian citizens abroad.
