Director of the information service at the regional health directorate of Medenine, Lamia Zammali, today dismissed the reports circulating according to which a case of the new variant “Eris” would have been recorded.
She affirmed that cases of Coronavirus have been identified, noting that test results have been sent for sequencing.
The official clarified that the symptoms of the new variant are; fever, sore throat and headache.
