The former secretary general of the Democratic current, Mohamed Abbou affirmed that the supporters of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, “lost all hope of reforming the situation”.
He called the Head of State to voluntarily leave power and nullify decree 55, connecting to the organization of the elections, as well as decree 117, issued after the referendum.
Abbou assessed that the current situation “will inevitably lead to the resignation or eviction of Kais Saied”, stating that “his period has ended”.
The former secretary general of the Democratic current suggested, as a solution, the return to the 2014 Constitution, the resettlement of the “legitimate” isie and the organization of new legislative and presidential elections in accordance with the old electoral law “.
